Francesca Yardley is a solicitor with over two decades of legal experience spanning private practice, private equity, in-house General Counsel roles and high-growth businesses. She has also sat as a fee-paid judge in the Employment Tribunal since 2023.

Francesca began her training contract at Linklaters in 2005 and qualified as a solicitor in 2007. She subsequently spent seven years working with mid-market private equity clients before joining R&R Ice Cream plc as General Counsel.

She later returned to the private equity and growth-company sector with Hambro Perks, where she advised and worked alongside fast-growth technology businesses.

Having worked both as a private practice solicitor and inside businesses, Francesca understands that clients need legal advice which is technically sound but also practical, proportionate and commercially useful.

Today, through FAY Consulting, Francesca provides specialist advice to businesses and professional firms, with particular expertise in employee incentives and equity, employment law and corporate/commercial matters.

She also works with law firms and accountants that require specialist employee incentives expertise or additional legal capacity for their clients.
